Eat healthy, calcium rich food: Calcium is extremely necessary for good health of your bones and teeth. Proper intake of calcium rich and healthy diet will ensure that your body gets the right mix of all nutrients. In addition to this, you should restrict sugar intake.

Visit your dentist on fixed days: Proper care of teeth and prevention of cavities involves an ongoing process. You have to visit your dentist regularly for thorough checkup of your oral health. He will con-duct X-Ray and other tests to find out about any hidden cavities.

Sealants are good for your mouth: To protect your back teeth, which are not that easy to clean by brushing, an extra layer of protection is needed. This is where dental sealants come into picture. They protect your back teeth by acting as the primary protective system against the bacteria and other things that cause cavity.

A proper mouth rinse: Brushing your teeth is not feasible all the time. For these conditions, the best choice you have is a proper mouth rinse. It can quickly clean your mouth and give you a fresh breath.

Finally, it is also recommended that you should chew sugarless gum as it gives good exercise to your teeth.
